Samira is a prolific artist who has been selling her work for up to thousands of pounds since her twenties. However to keep things simple on this website she has just chosen to focus on a few of her favourite projects rather than display all her individual paintings and drawings.

FREDDIE FOX
Freddie Fox is the first book Samira wrote, illustrated and published. It was made into a stills animation, with incredible soundtrack and became a theatrical production in a 360 degree dome which entertained children around the country as it toured festivals. Samira even dressed up as a fox to tell the story to children.
BUTTERFLY PROJECT
Originally inspired as an artistic way to celebrate the life of a friend, the butterfly project then expanded into a huge commission of thousands of suspended butterflies at The Big Chill and then went on to tour other festivals, weddings, events and venues around then world.
BREAKTHROUGH BREAST CANCER CAMPAIGN
Commissioned by Breakthrough Breast Cancer in association wit Samsung Samira created a huge mixed media collage with photos of people acted by Breast Cancer. It received national wide press coverage and this piece raised over £5,000 wen it was auctioned.
ILLUSTRATION PROJECTS
Samira has been commissioned to do illustrations in various books, from doing all the drawings in the superb 'Magic Happens' by Simon Welsh to working with Harry Potter cover illustrator Cliff Wright on his book: The Magic of Drawing' to small commissions for companies and individuals for various projects. Samira is able to find a style that suits each project as a very versatile artist..
