Pain transported to paper is a testament to the brutality of this time and can stir consciousness into a greater compassion.

To close yourself off to pain Is to shut down the system that tells you what is wrong. To brutalise yourself. Allow it. Feel it. Understand it. Walk through it Remember it. Appreciate it. This is the nature of this world. SH 05/06 |

The piece is entitled "Please look up" reminding the artist if your head is always bowed in sorrow from the pain in the world you will constantly walk into walls. |
