Breakthrough Breast Cancer Campaign  

Samira was asked by Golden Goose PR to create the signiture piece of art for the launch of Everyone is Art Campaign. This campaign is sponsored by Samsung who in 2009 raised over 2 million pounds to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer's work.

The brief was to recreate Botecelli's venus' profile using images of 1096 people which is the average number of women in Europe who are diagnosed with Breast Cancer daily. The images were sent in by people all over Europe and Samira used a combination of computer skills and fine art skills to create an exceptional piece of work. This work also received international press coverage including an article in the Evening Standard and the event became a ten minute bulletin on Sky News..
